Care and Handling of Cut Flowers
Once you have your flowers home, there a few simple tricks you can use to prolong the life of your arrangement:
- Always keep your flowers in a clean, non metal, container.
- Use fresh water, adding cut flower food to increase vase life.
- Strip all leaves below water line.
- Cut approximately 1-2 cm at an angle from the stem
- Keep flowers from draughts, direct light and heat.
- Change water and recut stems every two days.
